This specimen was lot 39062 in Stack's Bowers Winter sale (Baltimore, November 2015), where it sold for $1,351.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 300 Dollars, 2009. GEM BRILLIANT PROOF. Platinum. From a mintage of 200 coins and quite scarce. Numbered certificate of 139/200. A gem coin in every way, includes capsule, box and certificate of authenticity. Krause catalog value of $3,500. Contains 0.9926 Troy ounces APW."
