This specimen was lot 73488 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. Cob Real, 1697-P CH. Potosi Mint. Charles II. PCGS VF-35. From the Richard August Collection." One reales were struck in this style for Charles II 1667-1701. The date was moved to the center after 1652 and most of this type have at least one legible date. Assayer "CH stamped coins 1697 only.

Specification: 3.38 g, 0.931 fine silver, this specimen 2.90 g.
