This specimen was lot 2015 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Joseph II. 1765-1790. 20 Kreuzer 1787 F, Hall für Görz. Neue Büste. Fast FDC. Leicht justiert. (Holy Roman Empire, Joseph II, 1765-90, twenty kreuzer of 1787, Hall mint, for Gorizia, new bust. About Mint State, Minor adjustment marks.)"
Twenty kreuzer were minted 1754-97 for Francis I, Maria Theresia, Joseph II, Leopold II and Francis II from all the imperial mints in a bewildering array of varieties. This one, struck for Joseph II as sole ruler, is known for 1781-90 from Vienna, Karlsburg, Prague, Nagybanya and Hall (shown here). Twenty kreuzer made one-sixth of a convention thaler.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
