Sincona sale 51, lot 4310

This specimen was lot 4310 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it sold for 225 CHF (about US$272 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"20 Franken 2004 B, Bern. FIFA Centennial. Polierte Platte. FDC. In Originalschachtel. (Swiss confederation, twenty francs of 2004, Bern mint, for the centennial of FIFA. Choice Proof, In original box.)"

This NCLT was accompanied by a 2004 gold fifty francs. Another twenty francs honors Chillon castle (KM 109).

Recorded mintage: 13,997 proofs.

Specification: 20 g, .835 fine silver, 32.8 mm diameter; this specimen 19.91 g.
