This specimen was lot 5660 in Sincona sale 35 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 475 CHF (about US$564 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Confederation, 50 Franken 2005. Automobilsalon. Ohne Etui. Polierte Platte. FDC. (Swiss confederation, fifty francs of 2005, on the centennial of the Automobile Salon. Choice Proof.)"

Recorded mintage: 6,000 proofs.

Specification: 11.29 g, 0.900 fine gold, 25.1 mm diameter, this specimen 11.26 g.
