This specimen was lot 33898 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $630. The catalog description[1] noted, "Confederation gold Proof "Alpine World Ski Championships" 50 Francs 2003-B Gem Proof, Bern mint. A splendid commemorative in the original case of issue." This NCLT was one of a series issued in this module in the 1990's and 2000's.
Recorded mintage: 4,000 proofs.
