This specimen was lot 5657 in Sincona sale 35 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 1,800 CHF (about US$2,137 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Confederation, 100 Franken 2000. 2000 Jahre Christentum. Ohne Etui. Polierte Platte. FDC. (Swiss confederation, hundred francs of 2000, on 2,000 years of Christianity. Choice Proof.)"

Recorded mintage: 2,130 proofs.

Specification: 22.58 g, 0.900 fine gold, 27.8 mm diameter, this specimen 22.56 g.
