Stack's Bowers 2025 NYINC sale, lot 38435

This specimen was lot 38435 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Weimar Republic. 3 Mark, 1925-D. Munich Mint. PCGS MS-64. Struck to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the Rhineland as part of Germany."

Recorded mintage: 1,123,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 15 g, 0.500 fine silver, 30 mm diameter.
