This specimen was lot 3898 in Sincona sale 9 (Zürich, October 2012), where it sold for 225 CHF (about US$285 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[2] noted,

"DEUTSCHLAND Baden, Grossherzogtum Münzstätte Karlsruhe Friedrich I. 1852-1907. 5 Mark 1907. Auf seinen Tod. Polierte Platte. (Germany, Grand duchy of Baden, Frederick I, 1852-1907, five mark of 1907, Karlsruhe mint, on the death of the grand duke. Proof.)"

This type was struck 1907 and is fairly common by dint of being saved.
