Stephen Album internet sale 28, lot 1134

This specimen was lot 1134 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIAN EMPIRE: Nicholas II, 1894-1917, AE 3 kopecks, 1914, St. Petersburg mint, a superb example, PCGS graded MS65 RD." This type was struck 1867-71, 1876-84, 1889-1914 and is common.

Recorded mintage: 8,167,000.

Specification: 8 g, copper, 28 mm diameter.
