Revision as of 18:40, 29 April 2024
This type was struck in 1966 only but is not rare. A crowned crane stalks the reverse. Political instability and inflation in Uganda has reduced coinage to the occasional emission of NCLT's.
Recorded mintage: 4,000,000 plus proofs.
Specification: copper-nickel.
Catalog reference: KM-6.
