Uganda 1968 10 cents

from the Stack's Bowers June 2021 Collector's Choice sale, lot 73626

This specimen was lot 73626 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $55. The catalog description^[1] noted, "UGANDA. 10 Cents, 1968. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details Gold Shield. Despite the noted light cleaning, this specimen nevertheless captures the eye through some deep hues of cobalt and burgundy. Ex: Kings Norton Mint Collection." This type was struck intermittently 1966, 1970-75 and no dates are rare.

Recorded mintage: 20,000,000.
