Sincona sale 12, lot 541

This specimen was lot 541 in Sincona sale 12 (Zurich, October 2013), where it sold for 275 CHF (about US$356 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "2 Kopecks 1829, Suzun Mint, AM. 2 roubles acc. to Petrov. 2 roubles acc to Trapeznikov. Extremely fine." This type is listed for 1810-30 from Ekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Izhora and Suzun.

Recorded mintage: 15,000,000.
