The first specimen was lot 2767 in Sincona sale 26 (Zürich, October 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Nurnberg, Taler 1765. Gutes sehr schön (Germany, city of Nurnberg, thaler of 1765, good very fine.)"
This specimen was later offered as lot 2314 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$143 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[2] noted,
"Nurnberg, City, Taler 1765. Gutes sehr schön. (Germany, city of Nuremberg, thaler of 1765, Good very fine.)"
This type was also struck with the portrait of Francis I, Joseph II's father and predecessor as Holy Roman emperor. It is scarce.

Specification: 28.06 g, 0.833 fine silver, this specimen 27.90 g.
