This specimen was lot 2686 in Sincona sale 57 (Zürich, May 2019), where it sold for 425 CHF (about US$506 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Nurnberg, City, Konventionstaler 1765. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Kleine Kratzer. (Germany, city of Nuremberg, convention thaler of 1765. Very fine-extremely fine, Small scratches.)"
This is one of a number of thalers (Dav-2490 thru -2495) issued in Nurnberg in 1765.
