This specimen was lot 11379 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €85 (about US$89). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 5 Öre, 1731 - GZ. Stockholm Mint. Fredrik I. NGC AU-58. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1729-51 in substantial quantities and this is the most common date. Eight öre made a mark and eight mark made a riksdaler.

Recorded mintage: 1,245,758, including a 1731/0 overdate.

Specifications: 3.51 g, 0.444 fine silver, 22 mm diameter, this specimen 3.74 g.
