Sincona sale 47, lot 2100

This specimen was lot 2100 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$120 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Heiliges Romisch Reich, Franz II. (I.), 1792-1835. Taler 1817 A, Wien. Gutes sehr schön. Leicht justiert. (Empire of Austria, Francis I, 1792-1835, thaler of 1817, Vienna mint. Good very fine, Minor adjustment marks.)"

This thaler was issued 1817-24 from seven mints and is common.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
