This specimen was lot 3846 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabruck, March 2024), where it sold for €1,500 (about US$1,968 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Dukat 1760, Wien. GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit, nur wenige Exemplare bekannt. Min. gewellt, sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, ducat of 1760, Vienna mint. Extremely rare, with only a few examples known. Slightly wavy, very fine.)"
Friedberg lists this type for 1745-65 from Vienna (shown here), Prague, Graz and Hall. For some reason, this common type is missing from the SCWC.
