This specimen was lot 3168 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €380 (about US$499 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DIE REICHSSTADT REGENSBURG. DIE ZEIT DES KAISERS LEOPOLDS I. 1/4 Reichstaler 1663 (Jahreszahl im Stempel aus 1662 geändert), mit Titel Leopolds I. Münzmeister Hieronymus Federer. Von größter Seltenheit. Henkel- und Bearbeitungsspuren, sehr schön. (city of Regensburg, quarter thaler of 1663, struck in the name of Leopold I, 1663/2 overdate. Extremely rare, mount mark and tooling marks, very fine.)"
None of the quarter thalers of the seventeenth century are common altho they were struck fairly steadily after 1626. This type was struck 1660-64.
