This specimen was lot 3687 in Künker sale 385 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €3,200 (about US$4,135 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Dukat 1775, CA, Wien. GOLD. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, ducat of 1775, Vienna mint. Scarce in this condition, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
Austrian ducats of 1775 feature either emperor Joseph II (KM 1859) or his mother, Maria Theresia (KM 1842, KM 1858). This type was struck at Vienna 1765-80 and shows the veiled bust of the empress, adopted after the death of her husband Francis I.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 3.50 g, 0.986 fine gold, this specimen 3.48 g.
