This specimen was lot 4322 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €420 (about US$543 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''3 Reichsmark 1931, D. Kursmünze. Feine Patina, fast Stempelglanz.'' (Germany, Weimar republic, three reichsmark of 1931. Fine patina, choice uncirculated.)"</blockquote> The SCWC notes that less than ten percent of this issue of 1931-33 was released; it is seldom seen today. This specimen is from the Munich mint and is a slightly better date.

Künker sale 264, lot 4322

This specimen was lot 4322 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €420 (about US$543 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"3 Reichsmark 1931, D. Kursmünze. Feine Patina, fast Stempelglanz. (Germany, Weimar republic, three reichsmark of 1931. Fine patina, choice uncirculated.)"

The SCWC notes that less than ten percent of this issue of 1931-33 was released; it is seldom seen today. This specimen is from the Munich mint and is a slightly better date.

Recorded mintage: 2,232,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 15 g, .500 fine silver, .239 troy oz ASW, 30 mm diameter.
