"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Ferdinand I. 1835-1848. Dukat 1844 A, Wien. Gutes vorzüglich. (empire of Austria, Ferdinand I, 1835-48, ducat of 1844, Vienna mint. About Uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1837-48 in substantial numbers from Vienna (shown here), Kremnitz, Karlsburg and Venice.
