This specimen was lot 2042 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 500 CHF (about US$725 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Ferdinand I. 1835-1848. Dukat 1843 A, Wien. Vorzüglich-FDC. (empire of Austria, Ferdinand I, 1835-48, ducat of 1843, Vienna mint. About Uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1837-48 in substantial numbers from Vienna (shown here), Kremnitz, Karlsburg and Venice.
