Rare type with the chain of the order of St. Michael surrounding the monogram. It is presumed the adding of the chain of St. Michael was due to the king being initiated into the order. No further evidence have been found to collaborate the theory, though. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale-1922). Ex: Jacob Gude Collection 1811."
