This specimen was lot 22594 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Hannover. 2/3 Taler, 1832. PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder. Boldly struck with glowing tone around many of the raised surfaces. Issued in the name of William IV, also king of Great Britain. His death in 1837 ended the union between England and Hannover, much to the relief of the English political establishment." This type was struck 1832-33.
