This specimen was lot 1976 in Jean Elsen sale 149 (Brussels, December 2021), where it sold for €250 (about US$339 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"NEDERLAND, Koninkrijk, Beatrix (1980-2014), AV 10 euro, 2006. 400 jaar Nederland-Australië. In doosje. Gepolijste Stempel. (kingdom of the Netherlands, Beatrix, 1980-2014, gold ten euro of 2006, 400th anniversary of Dutch-Australian relations. In capsule, Proof.)"

This denomination is used exclusively for commemoratives and is not legal tender outside the Netherlands.

Recorded mintage: 3,500 proofs.

Specification: 6.72 g, 0.900 fine gold, 22.5 mm diameter, reeded edge.
