Stack's Bowers 2023 NYINC sale, lot 43020

This specimen was lot 43020 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "NEPAL. Shah Dynasty. 2 Mohars, VS 1988 (1931). Tribhuvana Bir Bikram. PCGS MS-66." While the single mohar was struck in silver and gold, the double mohar was struck only in silver. This type was struck VS 1968-1989 and is common.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 11.2 g, silver, 29 mm diameter.
