This specimen was lot 4068 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 850 CHF (about US$1,233 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Bistum Basel, Johann Konrad II. von Reinach-Hirzbach, 1705-1737. Kreuzer 1726, Pruntrut. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich-FDC. Exemplar der Auktion SINCONA 6, Zürich, Mai 2012, Los 2940. (Switzerland, bishopric of Basel, John Conrad II of Reinach-Hirzbach, 1705-37, kreuzer of 1726, Pruntrut mint. Very rare in this condition, About Uncirculated.)"

The bishop of Basel was driven from his seat when Basel turned Protestant during the Reformation. He resided in Pruntrut and issued coins from there. This type was struck 1725-27, with the 1726 being the most available.
