This specimen was lot 4230 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 5,750 CHF (about US$6,862 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Bern, Stadt und Kanton, Duplone 1829. FDC. PCGS MS63. (city and canton of Bern, duplone of 1829. Uncirculated.)"

This rare type was struck 1797, 1819 and 1829. The last Bernese coin is a rappen dated 1836. The confederation of 1848 ended cantonal issues.
