The first specimen was lot 10285 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €264 (about US$275). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 2 Mark, 1686-GS. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC AU Details--Cleaned. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." The second specimen was lot 92 in Schulman auction 385 (Amsterdam, July 2025), where it did not sell.
