The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Denmark|DENMARK]]. 2 Mark, 1686-GS. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC AU Details--Cleaned. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1686 only. Christian V was king of Denmark and duke of Schleswig-Holstein. Two mark was half a krone or one-third speciedaler.
