This specimen was lot 3524 in Sincona sale 26 (Zürich, October 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Silberdukat 1786. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Fast FDC. NGC MS62. (Netherlands, province of Utrecht, silver ducat of 1786, scarce in this quality, choice uncirculated, in NGC MS-62 holder.)"
This type was struck throughout the eighteenth century until 1794. This is a slightly better date. The Utrecht mint is still in operation, striking euros.
Recorded mintage: 1,214,000 for 1784-86.
Specification: 28.25 g, 0.873 fine silver, .792 troy oz ASW.
