This specimen was lot 36393 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2022), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Utrecht. Silver Ducat (48 Stuiver), 1784. PCGS EF-45." This specimen was offered again as lot 75536 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $384. This type was struck 1739-94. This is a common date. The Utrecht mint is still in operation, striking euros.
Recorded mintage: 1,214,000 for 1784-86.
