This specimen was lot 30773 in Stack's Bowers ANA auction (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $246.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Utrecht. Silver Ducat (48 Stuiver), 1790. NGC AU-58. Toned." This type was struck throughout the eighteenth century until 1794. This is a common date. The Utrecht mint is still in operation, striking euros.

Recorded mintage: 1,156,000 for 1789-91.

Specification: 28.25 g, 0.873 fine silver, .793 troy oz ASW.
