Sincona sale 69, lot 903

This specimen was lot 903 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 1,300 CHF (about US$1,725 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"THE NETHERLANDS | Utrecht, Provinz. 1/2 Dukaton 1790, Utrecht. 1/2 Zilveren Rijder. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Fast FDC. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Netherlands, province of Utrecht, half ducat of 1790, Utrecht mint, half silver rider. Rare in this condition, About uncirculated, Magnificent condition.)"

This type was struck without mintmark 1761-94. The mintage is unknown but the type is common.
