This specimen was lot 216 in Sincona sale 65 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 180 CHF (about US$237 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"3 Kopecks 1844, Ekaterinburg Mint, EM. NGC AU58 BN. (3 копейки 1844, Екатеринбургский МД, ЕМ. Биткин 543. В слабе NGC AU58 BN.)"

This type was struck 1840-44 at Ekaterinburg (shown here), St. Petersburg, Suzun and Izhora.

Recorded mintage: 4,840,000, a better date.

Specification: 30.72 g, copper, 39 mm diameter.
