This specimen was lot 30667 in Heritage sale 3081 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $1,920. The catalog description[1] noted, "German States: Prussia. Wilhelm II gold Proof 10 Mark 1898-A PR65 Cameo NGC, Berlin mint. Unlisted in Proof format in the Standard Catalog of World Coins, this gem selection unveils sleek surfaces whose main feature of note is the presence of faint die polish lines traversing the fields, with a subtle cameo effect present on both the obverse and reverse. From the Caranett Collection." This type, issued 1890-1913, is common and is a product of the Berlin mint. The proofs are rare.
