This specimen was lot 23719 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Christian II Silver Gulden 1523, VF Details NGC (Graffiti), struck at Malmoe, Sweden and considered to be the first Taler sized coin of Scandinavia. Very rare and attractively toned, light H shaped graffiti to the right of the coat of arms on the reverse and a natural edge crack at 2 o'clock on the obverse." Davenport lists similar coins for 1516 and 1518.

Specification: 23.68 g, 0.875 fine silver.
