This specimen is one of a series struck 1808-09, 1813-25 during the reign of Ferdinand VII. It is a common date and type, though the SCWC values it about 60% more than the contemporary Mexican issue. Assayer PJ is recorded for the years 1803-24.

Recorded mintage: 1,877,000.
