This specimen was lot 43376 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $576. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 3 Kopeks, 1909-CNB. St. Petersburg Mint. Nicholas II. NGC MS-65 Brown." This type was struck 1867-71, 1876-84, 1889-1914 and is common.
Recorded mintage: 6,733,000.
Specification: 8 g, copper, 28 mm diameter.
