Transylvania 1627-NB thaler Dav-4721

Sincona sale 66, lot 2096

This specimen was lot 2096 in Sincona sale 66 (Zurich, October 2020), where it sold for 1,400 CHF (about US$1,843 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SIEGENBURGEN, Fürstentum, Gabriel Bethlen, 1613-1629. Taler 1627 NB, Nagybànya. Zwitterprägung mit Vorderseite Resch 393 und Rückseite Resch 401. Selten. Sehr schön. Kleiner Randfehler. (principality of Transylvania, Gabriel Bethlen, 1613-1629, thaler of 1627, Nagybànya mint, mule of the obverse of Resch 393 and the reverse of Resch 401. Rare, Very fine, Minor edge flaw.)"

Altho this thaler is very similar to Dav-4720, the most obvious difference is the size of the crown on the reverse.
