This copper coin was issued from Reus or Tarragona for use there and in Catalonia. It was issued 1810-14 and accompanied by a copper ochavo, quarto, quarto y medio, two quartos and three quartos. The last local Catalan issue is a rare six quartos dated 1848, after which regular Spanish coinage was used.
