Stack's Bowers 2021 NYINC sale, lot 23300

This specimen was lot 23300 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (Newport Beach, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $2,220. The catalog description^[1] noted, "CANADA. 300 Dollars, 2006. BRILLIANT PROOF. A brilliant proof with a snowflake design inla[i]d with six Swarovski crystals. Sold with original display case and certificate of authenticity #0893." The profits extracted from the manufacture and sale of NCLT's caused the Royal Canadian Mint to scramble for ever more arcane topics, including this one with Swarovski crystals glued on.
