This specimen was lot 5045 in Sincona sale 35 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 2,200 CHF (about US$2,612 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Basel | Stadt, Dublone 1795. Gutes vorzüglich. (city of Basel, duplone of 1795, good extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1795-96 only and is rare. It is accompanied by a slightly more common duplone of 1795 (KM 187) with a different reverse.

Specification: 7.64 g, .900 fine gold, this specimen 7.51 g.
