Künker sale 336, lot 6435

This specimen was lot 6435 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabruck, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €1,200 (about US$1,570 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"KAISERREICH ÖSTERREICH, Franz I. 1804-1835. Dukat 1824, V, Venedig. GOLD. R Min. gewellt, feiner Kratzer, vorzüglich. (empire of Austria, Francis I, 1804-35, ducat of 1824, Venice mint. Slightly bent, a fine scratch, extremely fine.)"

Recorded mintage: unknown but a rare date.
