Goldberg Sale 150, lot 673

This specimen was lot 673 in Goldberg Sale 150 (Los Angeles, February 2026), where it sold for $5,160. The catalog description[1] noted, "Canada. 50 Dollars, 2009. 1 Ounce, 999/1000. Royal Canadian mint. Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Elizabeth II. Reverse: Thunderbird. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated." A silver version exists, denominated five dollars (KM 863).

Recorded mintage: 49,802 plus 200 with the maple leaves painted in red.

Specification: 31.10 g, 0.999 fine gold, 30 mm diameter, 1.000 troy oz AGW, reeded edge, designed by Susan Taylor, Susanna Blunt, Xwa lac tun (R. Harry).
