This specimen was lot 31565 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $517. The catalog description[1] noted, "Zurich. City gold 1/4 Ducat 1662 MS62 PCGS. A very scarce two-year issue, struck without the most-often-seen lion motif, with only the arms of Zurich depicted in the central obverse motif. A lovely example of the type with sparkling surfaces and sharp detail for the issue. Likely to attract strong bidding interest. From the Redwood Collection, Part II." This type was issued 1654 and 1662 only and is somewhat scarcer than the later Fr-468.
