This specimen was lot 30174 in Heritage sale 3089 (Dallas, TX, January 2021), where it sold for $4,920. The catalog description[1] noted, "Zeeland. Provincial Ducaton 1785 MS64 NGC. Graced with an age-old salt-white tone that evenly decorates the surfaces, glints of shimmering mint luster evident underneath and carrying forth with even greater radiance to sections of the well-struck reverse. A popular type that proves elusive in such laudable preservation. From the Cape Coral Collection of European Crowns." This denomination was struck with this mintmark 1753-76, 1785, 1789-93.
