This specimen was lot 75401 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Zeeland. Daalder, 1629. Middelburg Mint. PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, EF Details. Despite the noted details designation, this crown retains solid overall detail." This type, listed for 1606-51, overlaps the lion daalder of 1608-58, the silver ducat of 1659-68 and the ducaton of 1660-73, all struck to different standards.
