This five mark piece was issued from the Freudenstadt mint for Wurttemberg in 1902. Altho all the various states of the German Empire were entitled to strike silver five mark coins, many emitted only a few. This Wurttemberg type is known for 1892-1913 and is quite common.

Recorded mintage: 361,000.

Specification: 27.77 g, 0.900 fine silver, .803 troy oz ASW.
