Stack's Bowers November 2023 Collector's Choice sale, lot 73695

This specimen was lot 73695 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $216. The catalog description^[1] noted, "GERMANY. Wurttemberg. Gulden, 1856. William I. PCGS MS-63. This beautiful Choice Mint State example offers stunning eye appeal and much pleasing charm throughout." This is the final date of this type, which was first struck in 1838.
